    Spanish/English translations

I hate to admit it, but I don't speak Spanish. I'm working on it, but in the mean time, I use
the Google Chrome web browser with the Google Translate extension. This allows me to just click a button to get the entire page translated. I also use:

    Google Translate

When traveling, I use a laptop that runs "Word Magic Translator". That is great where there is no Internet.

Another good thing is to buy a cell phone. Perhaps $20 for the phone and $10 for some minutes. Then meet a few bilingual friends and save their phone numbers. Could help if you get really stuck*.

    * -like the traffic cop that wanted a bribe but spoke no English and didn't want to be very clear about it in Spanish :-).
