    Subtitles

Watching a movie in Spanish with English subtitles is a good and fun way to learn it in my opinion. And some DVD players support slow playback so you can carefully listen to the words, and make notes of the ones that you need to work on.

You can also watch a movie in English with Spanish subtitles, however that is not as useful when it comes to speaking it as it lacks the pronunciation. A combination of doing both is good.

The only problem I have is that I tend to ignore they are saying in Spanish when I have English subtitles. I just pay attention to the subtitles.

I know what your talking about it, and this happens mainly when your not accustomed to hearing the language spoken since you don't capture it correctly and instead focus on the English.

However, I'm sure it works for other people, and a method that you might want to try is buying those audio courses and listening to them over an MP3 player. It's a convenient way to learn any language, and not all these courses are expensive. There's a lot priced at a fair amount.

No volunteer, anyway nuaeman I suggest joining chatting rooms or social networking sites. There are various communities in these sites, where people interact and help each other to learn new language. I learned Portuguese this way a lot...

well watching a movie with the subtitles on is a good idea but i feel,a better way is to get a complete package for learning the language and then you can always practice what you learn by interacting with spanish speaking people and with time you will learn i am learning spanish from sometime but i am not a regular in practicing it,have to be better in 2008.
