How much would you be willing to spend to learn Spanish or another new language?

If I had the funds I would invest in going and immersing myself in a Spanish country, like Panama. Go for a few months or at least a month.

well i've seen that there are some online courses if you want to learn spanish. if you want interactive courses you'll have to buy a CD/DVD... and it usually costs about $100 but anyway... the best choice if you want to learn spanish... is talking to people that know it. so, visiting panama prove useful if you want to improve your skills.

I learned English with a method called super-learning. Not cheap but I was thinking in English within 4 days. I did 2 of those 4 day courses and the learning was incredible.

If there was something similar for Spanish, I'd gladly fork over some serious money. Any suggestions for super intensive learning results would be much appreciated.

I did, and it looks like one of the better options around. There are learning methods that large companies and governments use that can teach you working knowledge in days. I did that when I learned English, but that Institute doesn't exist anymore. It's fairly pricey, but within a week you can lean as much as tree years in school as a second language. That would give me a solid base to build on if I can manage right away to immerse myself into a Spanish speaking environment, or if timing is off, have enough of a base that I can switch my tv habits to telemundo and be able to catch on. what I am looking for is very specialized and not many people know how to properly use those methods. I can learn anything, but it must be intense. I missed one day in school. ... and that was the day they talked about patience.
