Riande Aeropuerto

I'm flyng in Saturday at 9PM. We were going to stay at the Riande because it was so close to the airport. The reviews I've read say it's bad. Any personal opinions? Open for suggestions. We want to drive to the Altas Del Maria area and look at property. Also Trinity area. Trying to find some nice accomadations. Any help greatly appreciated

Why don't you just stay at the Marbella Hotel off of Via Espana . ITs clean and they had a cafe/bar on site too . About $35-40 a night . Lots of good places to eat within walking distance . Thats where I always stay . Oh and welcome !

Marabella

Thanks for the info, How far is it to Tocumen Airport from there, and how long does it take to get there? We have a 9AM return flight, and I wanted to make sure I didn't have trouble getting to the airport.

It's about a 25 min ride into Panama City and the cost should be around $20 Bucks or a little more .I always use Jose Saenz and he can tell you exactly the cost . They will take you back too ,to catch your next flight out . Heres his email if you want him to make Marbella hotel arrangements and pick you up when you fly in . Very good guy !

Return trip

Thanks Tarzan, but here's the deal. We are looking at property in Altas etc during the week. I'd like to stay at Marabella the last night before we leave. I'm talking about getting directions to the airport from Marabella in the morning( Friday). Our flight leaves at 9AM. I have to return a rental car at the airport.

To get to the airport you have to use the Corredor Sur (expressway; in yellow on the map). To get to the Corredor Sur, follow the green line on the map below. (I'm 90% sure I got this right but if not, someone please correct me.)

Hotel Marbella is #19 on this map.
