I was looking at going to Nikki Beach sometime since I have been to most of the other places.
However, checking the hotel details on Expedia.com they state the following:
"This property caters to gay and/or lesbian guests."
Is this really correct?
I wouldn't mind going with my girl for a day to play some bingo and watch the drag queens, but a 2-day package would be too much.
Nikki beach is an overpriced brand name for suckers with no sense and too much money to burn.
I know some people who have bought at Nikki Beach and they are heterosexual.
Do not buy sticker price at Nikki Beach. They are condos available that people are trying to sell at steeply discounted prices.
No kidding there would be discounted units in this economic climate. I've been to a Nikki Beach in the Caribbean to look round and all the staff float round in white Linens and promote a 'lifestyle'. It had probably the most expensive restaurant on what is already a very expensive Island. Room rates kicked off at over $400. I doubt that they would be promoting a gay resort there as the government refused to let a gay cruise ship dock on account of their religious convictions.

I know what you mean. I'm gay and I don't mind going with my partner to a location thats for heterosexuales and watching the straight lounge acts and gambling for a bit, but spending two days among those people would be too much.
PS: Nikki Beach is mixed; there are no "gay-only" resorts in Panama

Mary obviously has a negative attitude for whatever reason-maybe she cant afford it. The rents have been in the $350 per night range and over 80% occupancy since opening in Dec. I never liked the Nikki Beach concept anyway,(Nikki Beach doesnt have even one operating hotel at present) the new affiliation will be announced within a couple of weeks and is a top name. So dont listen to the people who sit on the fence and throw stupid comments-your investment will be fine.
Yes, it's better to listen to Derek - he seems more experienced, both front and back.
I just don't want my kids nor grandkids in that area, unlike Derek and his rainbow family.

I have no idea what you are talking about. I usually go out and party in Castro when in San Francisco for example. I just don't want to live there permanently, neither do I want to go on 2-week gay cruise nor buy condos in areas where they specifically cater to homosexuals. It would be great if the developers told people they focus on the "gay money".

55 % of the people don't have wills. In countries where people expect the legal system to always protect them, it's probably even lower. On top of that you cannot always write a will to transfer assets. Laws are in place to protect people in line. The protection afforded from governmental recognition of spousal status cannot be replaced by a will.
Derek, where did you read that I hate homos. I do not hate them. I have even had 2 good friends that were lesbian. I disagree wholly with the lifestyle and there is nothing "natural" about it. You go against God's laws and you die of Aids. It is just as simple as that. Men are not to lay with men. I do not need to protest anywhere and surely am against the whackos that are protesting from that Westborough Baptist church. It is your choice but I guarantee you, your future is bleak at best, to continue in your lifestyle that you have chosen. I can just feel sorry for you but I dont hate you. Yes, we have the right to carry our guns. Just not in a bar, bank, or gvt buildings. I have carried concealed now for many years. Only one time did I have to use it. It is a good place to be from.
