Writing this on behalf of my seasoned citizen mother, who just returned from a 11th thu 16th February 2009 visit to Panama City. Reviewing Dos Palmitos B&B.

"Clean, friendly, secure and enjoyed meeting other guests at nice breakfast each morning. Location is perfect for visits to canal, causeway restaurants and downtown Panama City."

She had taxis favored by establishment provide tours, suggestions from the owner on what to do/where to go and new friends with whom she could dine and enoy the city.

Mom now knows why I seriously considered Panama for my new home during my 2006 visit.
