Has anyone here stayed in Hotel El Parador? If so, how was it? Did you recommend it?

I've checked Parador's Hotel site , it has very very nice and elegant rooms with beautiful views , the Premium plus room is actually amazing ,you'd feel like you're in paradise already , well.... and they charge beautiful prices , too .

Hotel El Parador is a good place to stay in panama because it is located in the center and very close to many restaurants, bars and Avenida Balboa. I satyed ther three times and it was ok; however, it is not of the highest standard but it's very user friendly. The stuff is ok and I had no problems with anything. In June 2008 I paid 60 dollars a night, but when I came back in Dicember it was already 70 dollars. The best idea is to pay75 and it for two people, so if you get sudden company there won't be a problem to host it, hahahahah, otherwise yo might to pay extra 20 bugs for a visit.
In general I would recomend it. The great place to meet people is a bar called La Terrazza. Sort of grino bar where you can meet awsome people and make new friendships and also get some info from people that stay in panama longer.

I had stayed at the Parador 3 x.... & the whole crew was very nice...It's not a glamorous hotel, but I enjoyed it & close to everything....
