Glad to be a new member here

Hi all
I am new to your site and have many questions but before I start asking I will do some research first here. I plan to make some trips to Panama soon to find out if it right for me.

I lived in Costa Rica for a few years and have been in Nicaragua for the past 2 1/2 years. With the massave change to Nicaragua due to the election of Daniel Ortega I am leaving as soon as I can back to Costa Rica. It is from there I want to visit Panama. I hope all the good thing I hear are true.

I would like to hear from anyone here that knows CR and Nica to give me a feel on how things are better or worse in Panama. From what I hear it is something in between the two but more modern. I hope to see some of you soon.

Scott

I have been in Costa Rica and I have to say that Panama has better infraestructure and it's more modern. Although Costa Rica has amazing landscape but here you will also will a lot of beautiful places to see.

Agreed, I spent a lot of time in CR and always thought I'd wind up there... but yet I'm typing this from my apt in Panama so you see how that went.

For me Panama was/is an easy transition from the states, but for you... living in Nicaragua, I'd say that you're probably going to be good just about anywhere
