is it just me or has anyone noticed that now a certain moderator is gone there is no prolbems on this forum anymore . i think we only have 1 moderator left and he is not on that much . i know i am enjoying the forum more .

I agree there seems to be more freedom of expression and less closing of threads and other forms of censorship.

I think there are pros and cons. There is less activity now and that is a minus. I really did hate it when people would get carried away and suppressed others (even though there were a couple posts that did get out there a ways). I'd rather no censorship as long as the forum keeps focus. So, who is getting rid of the spam posts that we used to see so often? I haven't seen any for a while.

This forum is the mildest one I have ever seen. There is no need for any moderation as far as I can tell. Spam removal is the only thing that needs to be done.

Threads started in the business forum for example first have to be approved by a moderator before appearing so obvious spam never makes it onto the board.

Only 14 different threads posted in since 10 Oct (12 days)? This place used to get that many in a day or two.

It is amazing how many people join but don't post anything. If you just want to read the stuff posted here you can do so as a guest, why bother joining?

I stopped posting/reading because it seemed that this forum would go off onto far-left field with some threads/posts that had nothing to do with Panama.

It seems though that it's back to normal???
