i have a doubt, i live in US and gonna move to panama, for a business, i have a Nokia, i unlocked my AT&T by using codes. now can i browse internet in panama with other networks there
As long as your Nokia phone uses a chip you will be fine.
you will need to buy a Panama cellphone chip and swap out your AT&T chip.
C&W (+ Movil) costs about $1 plus $2 to connect, then you buy some minutes. You can buy a data plan for about $14.95/month with unlimited data.
Mas Movil, Movistar, Digicell, Claro, they all should work as phones, as they all use the same GSM technology that AT&T uses, but they don't necessarily offer a data plan for pre-paid, only contract plans.
Don't bring a Verizon or Sprint cellphone, as they use CDMA and Panama no longer uses that flavor of cellphone technology.
