Drop in North American Visitors

For the first time in the past four years the entry of visitors from North and South American market which has fueled the growth of tourism in this country has decreased. In the first two months of the year 81,742 Americans entered Panama, a drop of 5.1 % compared with the same period last year. The biggest decline (18.6 %) was in the movement of Canadians.

A good time to double the number of hotel rooms!!!!

Finally reality (there is nothing to see or do in Panama for tourists) has taken over the marketing efforts.
