Wow, this seemed like a nice fun event.

It's a shame it passed already..I hope there's a similar one when I go visit. The first girl on the right side looks a bit out of place though unless the whole carnival is not "traditional" as I was on their site and they have some other pics from it where you mainly see women dressed in their cultural outfits.
