    Boquete

I enjoyed a 4 day stay in Boquete. I stayed at the Valle Escondido Resort which was beautiful. The spectacular scenery and the river running through bthe resort makes for a recuperative visit. The Resort is first class all the way and I would reccomend highly to all visiting Boquete. The towns people are friendly and there is allot to do from the coffee tour to the Canopy zipline your time will pass quickly. I did not get to go to Caldera hot springs so I look forward to seeing that again. A quick word about rental cars in David. I reserved online a rental car from Thrifty in David airport. The car price with taxes and fees $224.00. When I arrived they told me the insurance was $700.00. I told them they were nuts and when I started to leave they started dropping the price. At $760.00 I walked out. Went down to Dollar rental car showed them my reservation and explained I what happened. They got me into a simiolar vehicle with full coverage insurance for $480.00. This is a 2 week rental by the way. The "juego vivo" is always in play in Panama so be prepared. I will be in Pedasi tommorrow and will give my 2 cents worth in a few days.

I hope you enjoy your stay in Pedasi. Make sure to try a Dinner at Pasta y Vino, it's worth it but you may need to make a reservation. Pedasito's is not good...just a front for the Andromeda project to sell lots. I really like Pedasi...if you are a diver book a dive at Isla Iguana through Sports Club (across from the police station) or rent a surf board from Andres at Mano and head to Playa Venao. Have a great time!
