Hi All



Just registered here as Panama looks to be my new home hopefully!


I have been in Panama City for the past few weeks and am investigating one potential business idea! For obvious reasons I am not going to share the idea openly with the world in this forum but I am looking to chat with people who are both serious about investing in Panama and/or who live in Panama and have a wide berth of knowledge E.g. legals, property, leasing & renovating – rights for a commerical leaser, setting up a business, construction costs and laws and much more.

One of the main queries I have though is to find out about facts about leasing and renovating in casco viejo! I understand it can take a lot of red tape and in most cases alot of ground work is to be done because each buildng is different and many are now UNESCO trust right?

Does anybody have knowledge about this? If so please feel free to get in contact with me directly E.g. Private message and we can chat that way or even meet for a coffee to discuss ideas more seriously.

Sounds like Yatzi has the right connection. That is what it is all about in this country, the better the connection the easier your life will be especially when it comes to investing. Casco Viejo has ALLOT of potential. I cannot wait to see what it will look like in 5 years, it will be a very expensive neighborhood.
