Hey, guys, I want to ask you for some Help. I am doing a research paper on “Offshore financial centers” and I am looking for few people who are experts in this subject, or have an experience working with OFCs to answer several questions.
I would really appreciate if some of you will take a couple of minutes to answer next questions briefly (just your opinion in couple of sentences):

1.What are the common characteristics for Tax haven countries:
• Geographical & Demographical characteristics
• Governmental & Legal Structure

2.What are the main issues with tax Havens in your opinion?
• Hidden income (Money Laundry)
• Tax haven abuse
• Financial Action Task Force
• Funding of terrorism?

3.What are the effects of Tax havens countries on neighbor countries?

4.What would you recommend companies/ individuals to use offshore financial centers for?

I greatly appreciate your time and help

If you are buying and selling stocks/options in the USA as a foreigner you pay 0 % tax on all profits from those activities. The same goes for CDs and bank interest.

There are extremely well developed trading platforms available at $5 per trade regardless of amount.

No doubt the USA is the biggest offshore financial center in the world.

I do not need Articles and books from google. I need opinion of real ppl who worked with Tax Havens. I need primary sources of information.

I need opinion of ppl who worked with OFC- primary resources, not articles and papers.
