If you take a bus that passes through the corredor at some point but you get off before the cost is still $1.25 - for example from Plaza 5 Mayo to Paitilla. You used to pay when you got off before making it 25 cents instead. Maybe in 3-4 years they will start correcting such problems. It really was a stupid idea to have all the ladies screw around with their purses on the bus, rather than when they got off (and just bothered themselves).

Buses in the interior also went up 20% earlier in the year. Taxi's are definitely going up a lot as well. In my little town in the interior taxi fares are up 20 to 50% especially for the shorter trips. Beer? Going up. Always 50 cents in the interior. Now, 60 to 65 cents. Maybe in the short run, but long term, you teach a generation to not work. Unfortunately, you need some amount of suffering to motivate people to work hard. Making life too easy will eventually make it hard for everyone (except the wealthy).
