    weather

    Hi!

This might be a silly question, but I'll shoot anyway

I am planning for a 2-3 month vacation starting July/August. My question is.. How is the weather during the "off-season". Is it rainy every day? Or is it like heavy rain a few days, and then sunshine a week or something?

    Thanks in advance!

I don't live in Panama and it's been a while since I been there, so any of the residents can correct this if necessary..

It will rain once or twice every day.

Late morning to late afternoon anytime. You can easily see it coming, though.

It will come down in buckets for 30-45 min and then be good until the next time (hopefully the next day).

Good thing is it takes the edge off the heat (a bit)..

Guys I've been watching the weather down there for the last weeks or so on the internet site The Weather Network. It is saying thunder storms every day. This last all day or for just brief periods through the day? Does it get sunny at all during this time of the year? Mostly been looking at the Penonome area.

My in-laws live in the Penonome area and my wife talks to them several times a week. Yes it pretty much rains every day during this part of the year, but only for about 30 - 45 minutes or so and then it clears up.

    Thanks TennVol

I can live with that. Moving to a warmer Vancouver just doesn't interest me at all.

    Hi TennVol,
We chatted briefly last month. We are now a month away from arriving in Penonome and we are very excited. Do your in-laws know of a reliable realtor or homeowner who can steer us to a furnished, modestly priced rental home? Thanks for your help.

The weather is different in different parts of the country. Some places get more rain than others and some places need it more than others. That is why it is so important to get to know and experience the whole country before you make big investments.

Unfortunately they don't know anyone who has any rental homes nor do they know any real estate agents. Sorry.
