By DON WINNER for Panama-Guide.com - Received this afternoon via email: "For publication if you desire: Somehow, from somewhere, the Bocas town power generation facility received plenty of diesel today. At least five people in town reported this to me, so I have to believe it now. Lights are on, refrigeration is working, and the discos will be open tonight! There are a gaggle of flights coming into Bocas, all three airlines had flights today, Air Panama had two within an hour. Hopefully they are bringing needed supplies and leaving full of surfers. We had an hour or two of sun today! Still no beer ferry though....ya can't have it all! Forrest" All good news. From what I understand the disaster relief efforts will be centered around the airport at Bocas. They will be flying the relief supplies into there, and then using the US supplied Blackhawk helicopters to ferry the stuff out to where ever it needs to go. And so on...
